Villa is the typical choice and obviously one of the favourites. However the number of games he'll have to make an impact could be limited. Spain may bottle it. They will limp through the group stage after struggling against Honduras and a very well organised Chile team. They will probably beat the Swiss. Good odds for Chile to win that group. Demoralised, Spain will crash out in the first knock-out stage against Brazil.

Rooney is a good call for golden boot (as long as he's 100%), other top teams that will be there at the end such as Holland and Brazil will probably score a lot of goals from midfield, thus relegating their strike force to the status of pedestrians.

It's amazing how Argentina are fourth favourites right now. I think they will struggle. Maradona has a good win rate but on this scale I don't think he's got the tactical nous and his squad selection is questionable.
