Very impressive performance by Germany. The "engine" of their team is Bayern Munich duo Schweinsteiger and Mueller, former suspended for the next game against Spain. My point is, they'll definitely need a bit of luck at some stage to win the cup, i.e Spain today.

It's probably going to be a tougher more exhausting game with less goals against Spain as their defense is more solid, but I still see Germany winning 1-0 or 2-1 even with Müller's absence. A draw is still possible, so I'd just bet that Spain won't win.

Btw, those 2 missed penalties in a row in the Paraguay-Spain game was funny.

Yes, I'm happy with the quarter-finals because the tournament was a bit boring in the early stages.

P.S. It's also interesting to see how some Hollywood celebrities use the World cup to promote their new movies. Kudos to their PR agents!

Absolutely outstanding, player of the tournament easily. You know, the Germans have always underrated him...yet 25, nearly 100 caps? This guy has been awesome..going into the tournament they were tipping him to captain the side. Masterclass in holding midfield. Stupidly, the most in-form player who could have got near him coming off the back of a great season is Cambiasso, yet Maradona didn't even select him. In terms of international form, no one is close to Schweinsteiger right now. Chelsea will be shooting themselves. He was available for them last year for £15m. LOL. Double it now, then add some. Germany to win? Who'd bet against them?
