You are a bit short on both calculations since you only get paid 35:1 and get to keep your bet. Limitwise you might get away with the 7 dollar bet but the 78  dollar bet you would have to verify with the management on the second round.

roulettefanatic is right on with his calculations. if you put down $28 on a single number and win that is $4,325. Let that ride and if you win that is $1,237,987 . do the math it works. I've already done it.
