Do you know , roulette table layout  is biased .
I think many people know this, but I still want to point out, just in case there are people who don't know. 
If you like outside bets.
Black/red, even/odd, big/small. 
You might thought any of these is 1/2, if you combine three of these, you might think, the possibility of all three win or loss is 1/8 ( 1/2*1/2*1/2)
Wrong.
Here is the truth.:
Small/red/odd
( 1,3,5,7,9 )=5 numbers.
Small/red/even:
( 12,14,16,18 )=4 numbers.
Small/black/odd:
( 11,13,15,17 )= 4 numbers.
Small/black/even:
( 2,4,6,8,10 )= 5 numbers.

Big/red/odd
( 19,21,23,25,27 )=5 numbers.
Big/red/even:
( 30,32,34,36 )=4 numbers.
Big/black/odd:
( 29,31,33,35 )= 4 numbers.
Big/black/even:
( 20,22,24,26,28 )= 5 numbers.

Red/odd and black/even literally have 20% extra chance to win , compare with other way around. 

This will give  you huge advantage on outside bets.

I see your point.  You are right.  I do have extra number to win.  But also have equal chance to lose.

Lustring - Sniper is correct "There is no advantage"............. Using the layout numbers zero(s) & 1 - 36 is flawed assessment by countless thousands over many generations of players. Always remember roulette has been around for over 200 years with virtually every bet strategy still not able to beat the casino advantage. This virtually guarantees the game will continue on well into the foreseeable future, long after any of us are still around.

Rejig your layout numbers to match the wheel numbers (Euro) will give you the true picture = 0 -  32, 15,19              Notice that low red & high black is on         
                                                                                                                                                4, 21,   2              the right side of the wheel with low black &
  The odds never change on any bet. The 1 : 1 bets will always be 18/37 = 48.65%                       25, 17, 34              high red on the left.
   & house advantage 1.35% or 18/38 = 47.37%  & house advantage 2.63%                                   6, 27, 13

I still don't like the idea of " roulette has been around for hundreds of years, no one ever break the house edge", because you don't know what you don't know, maybe it hasn't been discovered yet, if something isn't possible today , that doesn't mean it won't possible in the future. maybe we can find a way to break the law.
