You'd be silly/stupid not to hit when your hand is 11 or lower.  You could get 21!  Say you have 4,4 (so .  If you hit and get a 3, you have a decent chance of getting a face card next pull for 21.

I've played the method before (good and bad results) but I would always hit until atleast 12... why not - it's a free hit! 

PS - Last time in vegas I saw a dealer win 27 hands in a row... she had 7 blackjacks in a row during that stretch and 13 in total... one guy was unfortunate enough to play through the entire series... poor fella.

Well I'm playing that way only because of the statistical part. If you play with 2,3 or more people on the table
then you are right you have to hit, but believe me if you play head to head the things are different

You can't play this method online, because they all (live balckjack) play basic strategy.
You don't have an option when it comes to hit or stand.



Waiting the dealer to win 10 hands is kind of card counting.
Because over the long run, those 10 dealer won hands will contain low cards than high cards.

So, when you start at 11th hand, there will (probably) be more high cards in the deck, rather than low cards. So if you hit above 11, chances are you'll most probably bust.

  sorry if what I say is already well known. This is not my game of choice yet i have played it a bit.

In landbased casinos if you sit at a table with say 4 players and your 2 cards are 10 and 2 and the dealers card is 7, you can actually stay if any of the other players have a combined score of higher than 17. simply because the dealer has to play again in order to beat the guy with the 18 score. So your weak hand can be ok and the chances are the banker will go bust.
