Some members on some gambling message boards subscribe to exacerbate intolerance and dogmatic views only. Why is it so ?

What is the cause of this refusal to allow to others the enjoyment of their opinions ? GG is the best example of such a place.

Hi arteinvivo,

that should be asked to them! 

But I fear they wouldn´t tell the truth.

Sometimes they tell they wanna prevent people from losing money.
They don´t accept that there are people, like me, that have fun just training their brain by challenging the house-edge.

On the other hand Roulette is the most fair game in the world. every lottery or lotto or bingo or slots or "name it" has a pay out less than 97,3%.

I believe they just have personal problems and wanna spread their own stupidity around the world.

One possible and direct answer :
They are paid by the casinos to create discordance and get out of focus of the possible winning  system in discussion.That can be possible but maybe there are another reasons.

For a reason i don't know, for some persons, discussing about gambling maximizes their weaknesses or minimizes their strengths. To become a good player, you need to evaluate your personal strengths and weaknesses on a constant basis and with some gambling boards you can swiftly detect those who can't discuss by showing sound judgment and rationality. Some are just too emotive to be able to evaluate their strengths. To win at any games of chance, you need to be phychologically strong. Very few players have what it takes to succeed and it shows in their comments. They are easily inclined to behave in an actively hostile fashion because they have dogmatic opinions about almost every thing. They mix religion, politics with gambling topics. This is not a good mixture.

One other possible cause is that many refuse to see a system as an individual solution to a complex problem. The solution may not be seemingly or apparently valid but it is just that, a possible solution among a sea of possibilities. To understand exactly what the other tries to convey we need to keep an open mind even though the other person may seem to be on a lower level of understanding or experimentation. Asking open questions has the effect of setting up a desired positive frame of mind. It is much easier to share and collaborate when people reciprocate in this fashion.

Some people think serious players are extremely competitive and it comes across in their posts. They sound aggressive because it's in their nature. I agree that aggressivity can help you move your big ass but when aggressivity becomes narcissism then self-destructiveness becomes the name of the game. GG is a case in point, where nothing can be learned from such a place, where the focus of attention is on the EGO of the participants instead of the real thing, i.e., the Bet Selection or the psychological aspects required to win. GG has become an empty shell because of this. The objective in such a place is to win the EGO race, not to win in the Casino. Big difference!

P.S. When your goal is to be the best, to impress the world, or to gain power over others, then you have a big problem and are a big problem to others. We don't need to look any further than people running Enron as an example of egos trying to prove they are the best and above the rules and how much that cause suffering to all those they mislead.
